The second shot at the par 4 #11, all of the par
3 #12 and the approach shot to the par 5 #13 were named "Amen Corner" in a
1958 Sports Illustrated article authored by Herbert Warren Wind. Wind coined
the expression to describe the miraculous manner Arnold Palmer played those
holes on the final day of the Masters to beat Ken Venturi and record his
first major championship.All three
holes of "Amen Corner" are beautifully captured in this stunning series
double matted and framed together in a single frame.
